Upcoming Retreats and Workshops
Join me for a fun filled two hour arm balance workshop in the family run, cosy Wild Wolf's Yoga in Bristol. This is a workshop for all levels - everyone is welcome to come and play, working from right where they are. We will begin our workshop by grounding ourselves to the earth with a slow flow working with props to open our hearts, our bodies and our minds. From there we will get sweaty while working on building up core and shoulder strength - firing up all the right muscles in so we can get upside down!
Following the success of leading weekend yoga retreats in the UK and by request, Jayne Becca Yoga is adventuring into Europe with our first week long yoga retreat in Ibiza. I chose Ibiza as not only has it been on my travel list for years but it is the perfect place for a week long escape to do yoga, relax and explore this bohemian island. Join us!

Having low confidence and negative body image can severely impact on your life. Learning to accept yourself is a lifelong journey, but here are a few tips which might help you on your way.
A simple 7 minute guided body scan meditation. I find that simple meditations where you move your attention around the body greatly help to reduce stress and anxiety, allowing you to slow down and hold space for yourself. This is a good meditation to start or end your yoga practice or even to start or end your day. It will leave you feeling calm, level headed and relaxed.
I love stuff. I love my clothes, my gadgets, the furniture I fill my flat with, the jewelry I wear (and I wear a lot!) I’ve always been like this. I was brought up in a well-to-do middle class family who weren’t afraid to keep up with the Jones’s. We had a large house, a couple of cars, a playroom, a living room, another living room, big Christmas’s, lots of gifts, lots of new STUFF. Gosh it was exciting!
When I was 40 I wrote a list of goals that I still wanted to achieve. Doing yoga was not one of them, I didn’t even know what yoga was. The goals were big and hairy like ‘quit my job for one that I love’, ‘mortgage free by 45’ and ‘stop working so hard’. I had no idea how to achieve them but that didn’t matter, my Doctor told me to write some life goals that felt important and so I did.
