Upcoming Retreats and Workshops
The shift in seasons into the depths of winter and the new year is the perfect time to slow things down, reflect and find space. Join me for a two hour workshop where we will be slowing everything down through our yoga practice through a strala based flow to relax and create space.
The winter months are a perfect time to slow things down - in this workshop we will be slowing down and moving through some deep hip openers to not only deepen our splits but to create space. I often think of the hips as the 'junk draw' of the body - the place where you throw things in to forget about them and not deal with them - we will be opening up this space, cracking open our hearts and shifting through those emotions that have become stuck.
Welcome to the first Jayne Becca Yoga retreat of 2018! This three day yoga journey will wake you up you from the inside out, nourish your body and mind. We will be using our yoga practice to create space, release that which is no longer serving us and calm our body and our mind. It is the perfect well-being escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Following the success of leading weekend yoga retreats in the UK and by request, Jayne Becca Yoga is adventuring into Europe with our first week long yoga retreat in Ibiza. I chose Ibiza as not only has it been on my travel list for years but it is the perfect place for a week long escape to do yoga, relax and explore this bohemian island. Join us!

Chaturanga is a pose that we move through time and time again during a vinyasa flow class. It's also one that I see so often being practiced incorrectly - it's a tough pose. In fact I would say it is a super advanced pose, here are a five tips for Chaturanga to help you with your practice.
This 20 minute yoga video will allow you to find space and time within the chaos. After all don't forget that finding time for yourself is just as important as finding time for others. You need to fill up your own cup first!
Over the last week or so we have been working on balance in my weekly yoga classes so I thought I would put together a little video of the basics of that flow. So this weeks video works with warrior three and opening up the shoulders because let's face it, we all need to open up the shoulders more. I know I always do after spending time working on my computer, playing games or just watching TV - the shoulders always suffer first!
