Me and Yoga
I have been practising yoga in some shape or form for years, knowing it or not my heart has always been drawn to the yogic lifestyle. Through my own yoga practice I have beaten my own body image demons to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Yoga to me is so much more than being super bendy and doing crazy inversions. It is about uncovering who you really are, it is about being kind to yourself so that you can then be kind to others and live your life with a sense of compassion and gratitude. Leading with your heart. Moving from your middle, with all that you have, in every direction you can!
With a new found confidence and my passion for inspiring others I took a leap of faith and under took my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Mercedes Ngoh (TriYoga London and Yeotown Devon). During March 2016 I studied with Tara Stiles (Strala NYC) in Amsterdam and completed my Strala Yoga intensive training, becoming a Strala guide. I am always a student at heart and regularly take master classes and workshops. I am always looking to deepen my own practice and knowledge of yoga and translate this into my classes. I am an experienced registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance (E-RYT). I am also fully insured and first aid trained.

Yoga Class Style
Vinyasa Flow - Dynamic Vinyasa Flow, integrates alignment, core work, and breathing techniques with basic poses and creative sequencing. Each class is designed to energise the body, cultivate a meditative consciousness, and give greater vitality and health. I encourage students to turn their gaze inward during their practice, to connect with mind, body and breath - to create a moving meditation. I like to be honest in my classes, everybody is different and has different needs on different days. Every day that we step onto our mats is a different day, a different practice. My classes are open to all levels.
Strala Yoga - Strala is a way of moving, being and healing that helps people connect with how they feel, move in a way that feels good and handle challenges with ease. This is yoga that moves far beyond poses, helping you blow past your goals and get into your dreams. It’s a freedom flow that expands your limits and cracks you wide open. You reveal your radiantly inspiring self. Strala is open to all levels and backgrounds. The class names refer to their purpose as opposed to a level so, come and join in! Connect with your body to explore what feels good for you personally, develop your intuition & discover what you are capable of and most of all - have fun in the process.
Gentle/ Restorative Yoga - A slow flow yoga class with the intention of slowing down, moving deeper into the poses, quietening the mind and relaxing the body.
