Writing this post makes me a little bit sad because it means that we are almost at the end of the summer. Summertime is by far my favourite season, I love the light evenings and early sunrises. I have really enjoyed getting up and going out for early morning runs while the dew is still fresh on the grass and the sun is still rising. However, the end of August also means it is my birthday soon and Malta is only four weeks away. Every cloud! This month I have a few old favourites which have resurfaced and a couple of new ones. I always find it exciting to find new products which I absolutely love.
Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss ~ Grapefruit // This is a very old favourite of mine. My Grandma recently gave me a little sample size of this and I had forgotten how much I love this lip gloss. It isn't at all sticky and gives you a perfect sheen of colour and glossiness. It is super easy to apply without a mirror too which is always a bonus!
Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner // Recently I have been trying to buy more purse friendly skincare in my bid to save some pennies and this product is an absolute winner for me. Priced at under £3 I think that it contains great ingredients, it smells lovely and most importantly my skin loves it! I just realised I also mentioned this in last months favourites so the message is ~ it's amazing and you should give it a try!
Yves Saint Laurent Faux Cils Volume Effect Mascara* // Oh my gosh, this mascara is amazing! I have never used a YSL mascara before but I totally get the hype now. In two coats it makes my lashes look super long, so much so that it looks like I am wearing false lashes. There will be a full review of this amazing mascara coming soon!
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study // This is a product that I keep going back to time and time again, especially in the summer months. It is a gorgeous champagne colour and easy to apply with your finger. It is perfect for summer and warm weather as it is a cream shadow it won't budge all day!
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm // I didn't realise how hard these little lip balms would be to track down! It took me a good two weeks of checking every Boots to find them in stock. I can totally understand why though, they are non sticky, moisturising and if you pick up a tinted one the colour pay off is great for a lip balm! The packaging is also super cute so that's always a bonus in my books!
What have your August favourites been?
