As I was walking home tonight I had a huge craving for some chocolate but rather than caving in and reaching for a bar of chocolate I decided to whip up something healthy instead!
- 1.5 cups chocolate almond milk
- 1 heaped tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp agave
- 1 handful of spinach
Combine together and blend it up!
This hit the spot perfectly! So what's so good about this smoothie besides being yummy? It has superfoods in of course!
Raw Cacao ~ Cacao is chocolate in it's raw state, has more than 300 nutritional compounds and is one of the richest source of antioxidants of any food.
