Happy Tuesday! Did you see my Facebook post? There are only four spaces left for my weekend retreat to Devon, it's going to be a lot of fun and you are invited - join us! Today I wanted to share my thoughts on a book which I devoured in less than 24 hours - Yoga Girl by Rachel Brathen.
If you haven't heard of Rachel Brathen before then where have you been? She is a rockstar Instagram yogi and you should go and follow her if you haven't done so already! She lives in Aruba but hails from Sweden and her daily Instagram posts are a great source of inspiration for me.
Yoga Girl by Rachel Brathen
The book itself is beautifully written and is divided up into seven chapters, part personal story, part yoga instruction and a few delicious looking recipes (I have yet to try any of these out but I will let you know when I do!). I often get asked what books I would recommend for beginner yogis and this one is now top on my list. Rachel breaks down sun salutations, twists, hip openers, core work, arm balances, inversions and ends the book with a section on winding down, restorative yoga and meditation.
This book left me feeling totally inspired and I urge you to read it - now!
