Happy Tuesday! This yoga project is speeding along, I am loving this little community that we are building and seeing your check ins on Instagram. Today is day 5 of the Back to Basics yoga project and I am breaking down how to do high lunge for you. I love this pose and I confess that I prefer it to standing warrior poses, I just find it such an empowering and energising pose! It's also one where I have seen a lot of progress in through my own practice. Make sure that you have a firm foundation rooting the feet into the mat below you. One of my biggest tips is to think about sending energy down through the back heel towards the mat, this will help to elongate your hamstring.
