Oooh look - a post on a Sunday! I know I don't usually post on weekends but I'm making a special exception for the Back to Basics Yoga Project because, well, I am dedicated like that! If you are a subscriber to my newsletter watch out for your weekly email soon, if you aren't why not hop on the list? It's FREE and you'll receive a weekly dose of inspiration and all things yoga from me. Plus you'll be the first to know about any special offers for workshops and classes.
Today is Day 3 of the Back to Basics yoga project and we are looking at how to do upward facing dog. In the video below I breakdown the differences between Cobra and Upward Dog so if you are (like I was when I started yoga) confused about the differences between the two then you'll hopefully find it helpful. The most important thing for Upward Dog is that only the tops of the feet and the hands are on the mat, the legs lift which makes this quite a physical pose.
