Well, my camera is still currently out of action however I have a 5 minute guided meditation for stress relief for you all in the meantime. Meditation is an amazing tool you can use to help with stress and anxiety. If you have had a really long day at the office, if you are working through something difficult today or maybe you just find yourself in one of those panicked moments where your mind gets very, very busy and you find it very hard to slow down - this meditation is for you.
I don't meditate as often as I should but when I do I find that just 5 minutes at the beginning of my day makes a huge difference. If you are feeling stressed at any time during the day take yourself away from the situation and focus on your breath. This calms the mind and allows you to get back into the present moment.
Often when we are feeling panicked and stressed our breath will be very high in the chest and the throat, focus on bringing that breath all the way down into the depths of your lungs and use your lower belly to breathe. Little by little your breath will be begin to slow back down. So find a comfortable seat, sit tall, close your eyes and press play.
