I love green smoothies! If you follow my Instagram then you will know this as I take photos of them a lot. To me there is nothing better then whipping up a big green smoothie after a morning yoga practice and starting the day in the right way. One of the things I get asked a lot is what exactly goes into my green smoothie recipe? So I thought I would make a fun video to share it with you all!
My recipe is very basic so feel free to add, subtract or substitute wherever you like. You really cannot go wrong! Just think about keeping the smoothie roughly 70% greens and 30% fruit and you'll be good to go.
Big Green Smoothie Recipe
- 2 large handfuls of spinach
- 2 cups of flitered water
- 2 apples
- 1 lemon
My blender is a Magimix Le Blender and if you happen to be on the market for one but can't splash out on a Vitamix then I highly recommend the Magimix. I have had it for over a year, it's still going strong, it's easy to clean and take apart and it's also very powerful.
