Happy Friday! Today I have a video offering for you of a quick 10 minute yoga for core sequence which will help to strengthen the core in all the right places. In yoga, you cannot under estimate the importance of core strength and it's so important when you are working towards arm balances and inversions such as crow pose and headstand.
Three things to remember during this sequence -
- Breathe - Keep the breath flowing in and out through the nose. The breath will help to energise you and give you strength in the poses.
- Think about engaging the core - Belly button lifts in and up to engage your bandhas or energy locks.
- Be kind to yourself - no judgements and no expectations. Have fun!
