So it seems that life has got a little bit crazy lately. In a good way but so much so that I haven't been able to keep up with my blog or YouTube channel. I hate when this happens because I love blogging, sharing my thoughts and creating content for you guys! So today I thought I would share with you a few updates and just have a bit of a ramble really.
We have found a venue! Oh yes! However, it means that the wedding planning is now in full force as the date is a little earlier than what we first planned on. We have found a beautiful venue which although it isn't a barn we can get married outside and it seems like a happy medium. Through this whole process I came to the conclusion that by far the most important thing is marrying the man I love, my best friend and soul mate. We have been through so much over the past 10 years, we have grown together and our love is so much more important than just one day. I'll reveal details of the venue and the big day as and when I am ready but for now let me share this - everything is falling into place!
Ahhhh yoga. I love connecting with people in person on the mat. I love that blissful smile that appears on faces as they open their eyes at the end of class. I have settled into my new schedule and I am really enjoying teaching every one of my classes, I think I have the balance right now. With a few private yoga classes and workshops peppered in along the way.
The summer yoga retreat is almost sold out! I'm just waiting to hear confirmation back from a lovely girl who reached out to me today. I'm so excited to return to East Down with Tracy and see those beautiful rolling hills of Dartmoor. I am looking at organising an Autumn Yoga Retreat so if you are interested please do sign up for my newsletter if you haven't done so already. I am waiting for confirmation of dates from the centre but as soon as I know I will share!
Everything seems to be non-stop right now but I did escape to London for a few days at the beginning of the month. Matt and I went to see Above and Beyond at the Royal Albert Hall, it was such a magical venue and an amazing night. They played an acoustic set and many of the songs gave my goosebumps, it was one of the highlights of my year so far! While in the city we also met up with my soul-sister Kayleigh and her fiancé Daryl. We always have such a lovely time when we are all together but this weekend was a little different - we surprised Kayleigh with her hen party!!! It was so fun, we went to the spa, drank champagne, ate yummy food, watched Magic Mike and in the morning I led an energising strala class before breakfast. We were blessed with a mini heatwave while we were in the city as well which just rounded of the weekend perfectly. I'm so super excited because the next time I see Kayleigh will be on her wedding day!
I hope to be back very soon with a brand new yoga video for you all! Please do leave me a comment below - I love hearing from you all.
