I'm back from an amazing weekend in Devon at our magical summer yoga retreat and I'm so excited to share some pictures from our weekend!
We returned once again to the beautiful venue of East Down which is such a perfect place for a yoga retreat. As soon as you trundle down the lane and set foot on the property you are greeted by the most spectacular view and instantly feel your whole body go - ahhhhhhhh! We welcomed a group of women from all over the UK who were more than ready to soak up the good vibes.
Our morning classes took place in the yoga barn which is a super cosy space, needless to say we got our flow on and steamed up those windows! In the afternoon we were lucky enough that the sunshine graced us with her presence and we were able to hold our practice outside on the yoga platform which boasts the most spectacular views. If you search #JBYRetreat on Instagram you will see lots of photos from the retreat. We had such a good group!
The food of course was amazing as always. This is the third time that raw food chef (and yoga teacher!) Tracy and I have worked together and I couldn't think of a better person to have alongside me while I lead these retreats. She has such a good energy, if you you have ever met her then you know exactly what I mean. For me two of my favourite foodie moments were AVC shots before morning practice (boom!) and the raw vegan cherry chocolates which were absolutely to die for. Tracy can deliver chocolates to you in the post if you are wondering. They make the perfect gift and I highly recommend them! Just drop her an email - email@example.com.
As always I put together a little goodie bag for everyone who came along to the retreat. This time we were sponsored by Mama's Zen who made us the most beautiful reiki attuned bracelets.
I was absolutely blown away by the energy that everyone brought to this group, there were tears, healing, breakthroughs, transformations and above all else - love. I feel so lucky and honoured to lead these retreats, I put my heart and soul into them so seeing them come to life is truly mind blowing! I personally left the retreat feeling inspired, with a heart full of gratitude and excited as to where this path I am on takes me to next!
Upcoming Plans and Retreats
I am super excited to be leading my third yoga retreat for the year at East Down October 14th-16th 2016. Places are filling up already and I have four spaces left so please do get in touch if you would like to come along! With the change in the air from summer into the cooler months we will breathing in the wild Devon air, getting cosy in the yoga barn and enjoying refreshing Autumn walks. The food served will be raw vegan, it's the perfect change to try something new, refresh and nourish yourself from the inside out. During our summer retreat Tracy's angelic reiki treatments were very popular so we will be bring these back along with a cacao ceremony.
Stay tuned for upcoming retreat dates for 2017!
Closer to Bristol I will be leading regular workshops, as always my newsletter subscribers will be the first to hear about any upcoming workshops so don't forget to sign up! The workshops are very popular and always sell out quickly.
