Happy Friday people! Christmas is just around the corner - can you feel it? Last weekend Matt and I finally got our tree up and I love it. It is small but perfect and it's ours. I've spent most of the week running around to lead different yoga classes around Bristol but next week I am beginning to wind down for the Christmas break - in fact starting today! As I am writing this post I am wrapped up in my favourite cosy blanket and sipping on hot tea. I thought that today being Friday would be the perfect time to bring you a 15 minute hip opening yoga flow video. I think with the time of year it is everyone is moving into hibernation mode or are feeling stressed out from trying to shop for Christmas and tie everything up work wise before the break. Hip openers are great to linger in for a little bit longer and just breathe.
In other news, I have been receiving a lots of questions and queries about starting to lead your own yoga classes, marketing yoga classes, starting a blog and YouTube channel. Now here is the thing - I love what I do and I have worked super hard to get where I am. I'm still working on the blog thing but I love that I have built up a readership and it's a great resource for my students to continue to practice with me even if they can't make it to class. I am in the process of writing up a few posts with helpful tips but if you are looking for something more in depth you need to crack open some books, roll up your sleeves and get to work! There are lots of really great career coaches out there and books - so many books! I'll round up my favourites for you soon.
