Way back when I first started blogging I used to do monthly favourites blog post, as I was beauty blogging at the time. I think favourites posts are a great way to find out what people are loving and discover some new products - so I'm bringing them back! Of course this time around they will be yoga and wellness related but that also for me includes skincare, so be prepared for a mixture of things!
This month I have been super busy with leading yoga classes around Bristol, working hard on building my blog and of course preparing for our upcoming retreats. While working hard is all well and good I keep coming back to the same thing - take time for self care. So on that note I have also spent more time on my personal practice, winding down and relaxing and making sure I try take a full day off each week. Here are a few of the things I have been loving this month based around my theme of self care and self practice.
Sweaty Betty Mukha Yoga Cami - Usually I am one to shy away from more fitted tops and I will layer up with t-shirts and jumpers but I'm making an effort to be more body confident again by wearing more tank tops while leading classes. This top from Sweaty Betty makes a great top for teaching in because it is comfortable, it has a build in bra and because it is fitted your students can see the alignment while your are demoing better. I also love the bright colour as I am usually such a black and grey girl. I snapped this one up in the sale but the updated version can be found here.
Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner - While I will admit to being a bad yogi in that not everything in my skincare collection is green and natural, I am making an effect to switch things out. I have been using this chamomile and rosewater toner from Sukin for the past couple of months and I love it! The toner helps to soothe and calm your skin. I like to use it when I have just got out of the shower or after I have taken my make up off but before the rest of my skincare routine.
Tisserand Sweet Dreams Roller Ball - You may have read my 3 ways to relax and de-stress post earlier in the month where I mentioned this roller ball, and it really does help! I find that when I get stressed out that sleep goes out the window but I have been nipping it in the bud by using this roller ball in the evening. I find that it is relaxing, calming and allows my mind to switch off.
Let's chat: I'd love to know what your favourite things are this month and if you have made any new discoveries!
