One of my favourite things about yoga is the sequencing, I think because I love vinyasa flow and my teacher training was a pure vinyasa flow yoga programme this really shows through when I sequence classes and workshops. I have a set of sequences which all interlock but you can play around with them, going with the flow as it would be! Crow to tripod headstand is a mini transition that I have been working into my classes and personal practice recently so I thought it would be a fun one to break down and look at in a little bit more depth.
Crow to Tripod Headstand
Firstly you will need both a solid crow pose and tripod headstand. From there it is all about the transition and having the strength to move from one to another. You'll need to make sure that you are warmed up as well.
Sometimes transitions like this are more about having a 'yes I can!' attitude than anything else, so have confidence in yourself and if you need extra support grab a friend to spot you or make sure you have a wall behind you.
