Last week after spending a few hours on the computer working on some upcoming events I rolled out my mat* needing to stretch out and get my head back into the right space. As I was about to flow it got me thinking about my old office job and how there were many people who would benefit from an after work out flow so I popped on my camera and filmed it for you. It's just 10 minutes long but hits all the right places and is the perfect little flow to create space before moving on with your day. Sometimes 10 minutes is all you need to slow down and reconnect. So here is your 10 minute after work yoga flow!

Speaking of slowing down I have been taking weekends off teaching classes since the autumn yoga retreat, not intentionally but that's the way thing have worked out! I feel like I have a better grasp back on my work life balance again after the craziness that was September.
This weekend we were supposed to be seeing Lady Gaga in Birmingham but she unfortunately had to postpone her European tour so as we already had the hotel booked we figured we would go for a weekend away instead! We had a lazy Sunday morning and I made the most of it by getting in a morning yoga flow before heading to Birmingham. We were booked in at the Everyman Cinema to see Blade Runner 2049, we both really enjoyed it, it's a thought provoking sci-fi film but on a side note make sure to watch the directors cut of the original Blade Runner before seeing 2049 as we found there were lots of little references that make more sense if the first film is fresh in your mind.
This morning after the best nights sleep in our hotel - we stayed at the Malmaison, highly recommend as it's so central and the rooms are gorgeous - we headed back down the M5 via Whole Foods and Homesense (standard) where I picked up a new planner. Even though we were away just 24 hours it was a much needed and perfect break away. I'm feeling refreshed and ready for the week!
