Spring is in the air! Can you feel it? I certainly could when I was filming my videos today. I'm super happy that spring is on it's why because it means the evenings are getting lighter, we an get outdoors more and the sun is back! Sunshine makes me so happy. So going with the sunshine theme today in the #FindYourFreedomFlow video series we are looking at some simple sun salutations that you can add into your flows and build upon from your warm up sequence.
Sun salutations form the foundation of any yoga practice, we warm up through the body, build heat and the beautiful repetitive nature of the sun salutation allows us to get lost in the flow which is ultimately what we are looking for when it comes to finding your freedom flow. You can create your own moving meditation. Start off nice and slow, moving mindfully and then as you feel the body opening up you can begin to take poses a little bit stronger or maybe a little bit quicker - you chose! In the video I will lead you through a simple sequence which you can then take away to practice - maybe start by pressing play on the video then as you get to know the poses see how it feels to flow on your own. Pop on your favourite playlist and move with the breath!
