Most of the time in yoga it’s not necessarily how strong or flexible you are, it’s about how you approach pose, it’s about getting to know your body, tuning in and coming back to yourself.
Together we will work with the breath and the body to create a flow that will deepen your splits and open your heart. These flows will challenge you to find comfort in the uncomfortable and calm your mind when it starts to wander. My favourite part of my own practice is finding new and fun ways to transition into poses and I can’t wait to share my favourite creative flows with you!
We will begin with a centring and then begin to move slowly and mindfully moving with the breath, beginning to create space in the body. We will then shift the focus to building up a natural heat in the body, moving in every direction and in a way that feels delicious, creating space in the body and mind. Once we are fully warmed up we we explore hip openers, backbends, pigeon pose and splits. The class will end with a slow flow, breathwork and a guided meditation - creating space in the body, mind and soul.
You will leave feeling inspired, refreshed and empowered!

- a yoga block (a large book will work as well)
- a yoga strap (or a scarf or a belt)
